How to Apply

Applicants to the PhD Psychology Programs must fulfill the admission requirements and submit the materials required for graduate study in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, applicants to the Clinical Psychology PhD Program must submit current curriculum vitae along with their supporting documents and indicate their preference for faculty mentors on the online application.

Application deadlines vary according to program:

  • Applied Social Psychology: December 1
  • Cognitive Neuroscience PhD Programs: December 1
  • Clinical Psychology: December 1

Meet Professor Shomstein

Sarah Shomstein, associate professor of cognitive neuroscience, conducts research on the psychological and neural mechanisms underlying attentional selection. Her studies have been published in a variety of publications including the Encyclopedia of Neuroscience and the Journal of Neuroscience.
