The Psychology honors seminar for the spring will be taught by former CCAS dean and now member of the Psychology faculty, Dr. Peg Barratt.


The Psychology of Innovation and Creativity

Mondays 1:10-3:00 p.m.


As a learning community, we will review the theoretical foundations and empirical findings on innovation and creativity, particularly from the perspectives of developmental, cross-cultural, organizational, educational, and social psychology. Other disciplinary perspectives will also be considered. Analysis and synthesis will be used to understand the fostering of innovation and creativity by cultures, organizations, employers, schools, families, and groups. Students will visit and reflect on structured programs designed to foster innovation and creativity.
