Dr. Fotuhi is a neurologist, professor, and author who specializes in the field of memory, attention, brain rehabilitation, and prevention of Alzheimer's disease. He received his doctoral degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. In the past, he has served as an instructor at Massachusetts General Hospital and an assistant professor of neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Through his clinical work, he has developed a 12-week "brain fitness program" which combines the benefits of lifestyle modifications with biofeedback and targeted brain training. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as three book for general audiences. He now teaches courses about neuropsychology and clinical applications of neuroplasticity for students at George Washington University.
